This Rules Can Destroy Trust And Teamwork

Did you ever thought, " What inspires your employees to think and care about their work and organization?"

Employees care about their work and organization when they know organization and management.
You cannot force employees to care  and love their work. And if they don't care of hitting their goals and targets, you may put them on probation and release notice to fire them one after another. So think have succeed in ruling the organization so strictly and professionally. And it won't help.

When insecurity takes over the culture, you will never climb out until you won't earn the trust of the employees at workplace. If you need creativity, innovation, target surprises, big succeeding ideas, you have to put time and effort in building trust. Ruling culture always spread negativity which affects efficiency very badly. Big success is achieved by making small investments, not monetary, but personally by giving yourself little to the team and management to erase negativity and develop trust.

Here's the some rules by which employees feel mistrusted and insulted. Who could collaborate feeling this way?

1)  One rule that requires employee to present the medical note when they are sick. Now the employees are not children, they know when to get consulted with doctor. when it is asked to do for a single leave, this break trust of employee and tap them to think "Is it, management does not trust me?". Unnecessary discipline can push the mind to think negatively and raise insulting questions.

2)  Its also regarding the transfer. rotate the employee from department wise or branch wise, which is demanded by employee. The rule where you need to take several approvals and wait long for acceptance will definitely ask employee to leave the organization even when the job hunt outside the organization if much tough than inside the organization.

3)  The other would be appraisals. Here even after the self appraisal and ratings of respective managers, mostly asked to review oneself's performance by other employee or co-worker, this is called as 360 degree appraisal. Where the final performance is mapped by the valuable reviews of their co-workers and colleagues. This again raise the question what exactly the organization wants to have with. This can be biased and the self appraisal always get dumped into garbage. Why is it necessary to involve with such confusing steps where reporting authority can judge independently as he knows if he becomes biased, he is going to biased in some other way.

4)  The rule that makes the incidents of absent and lateness is a disciplinary issue. Maintaining and following attendance can be so serious issue if not followed according to the rule. People are now much serious about their work than organization think they should be in such a competitive industry.
We should not ignore that people who come with the ideas to explore your business not to be treated as criminals for getting sick or any other serious family or personal reasons.

5)  The rule where employees are asked to work till late night or mid-night and still they are asked not to be late to work the next day.

6) And the rule that says employees won't get paid for their unused sick, casual or paid leaves the time when they quit. This policy can be the bonus for the employees to use all their paid leaves before they put the notice.
